Gulf Shores, July 2013

Kevin, me, Kaitlyn and Kaitlyn's friend, Skylar, went to Gulf Shores in July.  Here are a few pictures from my phone. I have more pictures on my camera, but I lost the cord to the camera.  If I ever find it, I'll post those pictures, too. :)

So, Kevin is no longer known as PaPa. Elaina has started calling him "Mine". I hope it sticks and all the grandbabies call him that. :)

Morgan is working at La Gran Fiesta now and works the evening shift from 5pm until close.  Wednesday night, Kevin and I kept Elaina all night.  We had so much fun with her and are looking forward to the next night that we have her.

Orange Beach, June 2013

We took a trip to Orange Beach last weekend with Keith and Ashley and some of Ashley's family.  We stayed at the Caribe Resort in a 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo. Kevin and I slept in a closet.  Yep, that's right.  A closet.  The closet in the master bedroom was large enough for a queen size air mattress and all of our stuff that we took with us.  I wish I had gotten a picture of it before we packed everything up, but we were in a hurry to get out and I didn't think about it.

There were 17 of us in this condo:  Me, Kevin and Kaitlyn, Keith, Ashley, Jayden, Fisher, Griffin and Lila Kate, Phillip and Beth, Bonnie, Justin, Tori, Charlie and Jack.  Ashley's youngest brother, Tanner, lives in Orange Beach and he was over most of the time.  That makes 18.  We had a fantastic time and hope that we can make this an annual event.

The first night we got there, Friday night, we took the kids down to the dock to fish.  They caught fish after fish that night.  Kaitlyn caught this one, but refused to hold it for a picture, so Keith held it for her.  She did, however, kiss the fish before he let it go.  Not sure I understand why it's ok to kiss a fish, but not hold a fish.  Whatever.

Keith decided Saturday morning that he needed to wash his shorts for Saturday night.  He forgot that we had a washing machine and dryer in the room.  My brother cracks me up!!

Happy Birthday, Paw Paw

Tomorrow would be my Paw Paw's 85th birthday.  He will be celebrating it in Heaven with Jesus.  Can't think of a better way to celebrate if he can't be here with us. 

Happy birthday, Paw Paw!!  I miss you so much!! Hope your birthday is fantastic!!

I love you!!

Also, if you see Debbie, tell her that we love her, will miss her and we will take care of Mindy and Kim.
