..........the davis daily..........: Here we are again.

Well, here we are again. I started this blog in 2010, but only had one post. So, I deleted it and decided to start over. Since my last post, so much has happened. I lost my grandfather, had lung surgery, became a grandmother, became an aunt - again, and my baby graduated from elementary school. Life has been busy!! My step-daughter, Morgan, had a baby girl on March 15, 2012. Elaina Addison.

She.Is.Precious. Enough Said.

This baby was a HUGE shock to our family, to say the least. Morgan is 18 and will be a senior in high school this upcoming school year. We were angry and hurt when we found out that she was pregnant. But, we have found out while going through this situation that God puts obstacles in our lives to give us a testimony about His love and His mercy. And, boy, has He rained love and mercy on us!! Elaina will be 3 months old on June 15 and she has stolen her PaPa's heart. I guess I can share it with her. :)

Kaitlyn graduated from the 5th grade on May 22. I can't believe that she will be in middle school next year. Seems like just yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital. Next year is bound to be interesting! But, we are so proud of her! She got all A's, and one B for the school year, was on safety patrol, Treasurer of the SGA, ran 106 miles for the Mighty Milers club and won a presidential award. Yep, we were some proud parents at that graduation!
